Actually the plain background is something I wanted to retain throughout my series of Trooper father/son photos, purely because I produce all of them in black and white (although I will restore some colour where it's needed, like on R2's panels) and I want the focus of the image to be on the figures, not what's going on behind them.
Ah, I see. I like that the Tropper father/son photos are all black and white. It really fits! And yeah, you're rigth by doing so the focus is on the figures, (I just expected something crazy in the background fitting the situation)
