Description
Today I received my last "free" gift for being subscribed to the Eaglemoss Star Trek Starships, the Borg Cube. The only thing about it is... well... it's crap. The size is good but the surface detailing is pitiful (each side is identical, and made from one pattern rotated four times). It does light up, but rather than the subtle green glow that was shown on their website, this thing just has 5 holes with white plastic behind them.
As a model it's very disappointing (which is strange as all their other models are fantastic, like the Enterprise in this photo), but I got one decent photo out of it. My plan for it now is to gut out the basic lighting from inside, make more holes for the light to shine through, and replace the internals with sound-reactive LEDs.
